I was totally shocked when I saw this, I mean I 'loved' the Lion King......but it turns out its not an orginal idea. its just an improved version of a 1960's cartoon series............Disney didn't even give it credit. They simply stated that's 'a coincidence' that soo many things in the movie are similar.
If Disney had credited Kimba for being the inspiration of the movie, then my reaction to this news would have been less of a shock...........I mean give credit where credit is due!
But then again, Disney stole the idea and modified it so much so that it became phenomenally successful and a household name..........they have it right cause you know how it goes, if you plan to copy /cheat you got to borrow-improve-modify the original version.
